Sam decided to move out of Canterbury and back to Colchester to seek work, however he will continue to play with Daylight Saving.

LoFi release their first LP collection of of tracks; Prepared Axe.

Sam is invited by Kate Lynn-Deverre to join Kent-based jazz-fusion band Daylight Saving to play sax and clarinet.

April 2010
Sam begins plays sax and clarinet with Joe Inkpen's band The Mop Collective as part of their Rainbow Conceptuals project.

February 2010
Sam & university friend Conrad Bramelf have begun recording tracks as LoFi, to release later this year.

July 2009
Sam completes his Bachelor's degree in music at Canterbury Christ Church University and is awarded with a 2:1 (second class upper) result.

Sam performed with a student led jazz quintet called The Five at a gig outside Canterbury. Recently he collaborated with other fellow music students to form a jazz/rock influenced function band playing at the CCCU Music Department Ball. He is also working with Fiddlers Elbow, a folk rock band based in Colchester.

Sam played solos and duets with fellow accordionist Beverly Rayner in a special recital hosted by Canterbury Christ Church University.

May 2007
Sam is the Senior Recital Accordion Champion for the UK.

November 2006
Sam was made a licentiate (LVCM) of the Victoria College of Music.

October 2006
Sam begins studying for a Bachelor's degree in music at Canterbury Christ Church University.

May 2006
Sam takes first place in the Frosini Solo 16 & Over at the UK Accordion Championships with a score of 92 out of 100.

October 2005
Sam is made an Associate (AVCM) of the Victoria College of Music, London.

July 2005
Sam is awarded a Diploma (DipVCM) from the Victoria College of Music, London. He also passed grade 8 Clarinet with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, passed grade 6 Piano also with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and passed grade 8 Music Theory with the Victoria College of Music.
